Welcome to Breezy Hill Ranch!
We purchased 91 acres, in 2003, nestled in the beautiful hills in Washington County,
just a few miles of the Vermont border. We left our full time jobs in Connecticut in April, 2006 to build our new
home and farm.
We began our alpaca adventure with 2 pregnant
female huacayas with a cria and 1 male haucaya that were delivered on August 1, 2006. When we first decided
to raise and breed alpacas, we didn't expect to fall in love with this new career change so rapidly. David put
it in a simple but effective way "It's like raising live teddy bears!" Not only is every day a learning
experience, it is also a very rewarding one! Alpacas are such lovely animals and they have a lot to offer
- they have a wonderful disposition, beautiful fiber and they are so easy to care for.
It is our goal to always
breed to increase the conformation and fiber quality in all aspects of the alpaca.
JUST ONE TOUCH & YOU'LL UNDERSTAND WHY RAISING ALPACAS IS SO REWARDING!
