Welcome to Breezy Hill Ranch!

We want to start off by giving a little background about ourselves.  David and I have 2 wonderful children, a son who's in the Massachusettes National Guard who has served in Baghdad and going to college to study political science, and a daughter who's attending college in Boston studying architecture.

We purchased 91 acres, in 2003, nestled between the Adirondack Mountains and the Vermont border.  We left our full time jobs in Connecticut in April, 2006 to build our new home and farm.  We are very proud of how far we have come not only in the building of the house and barn, but also in our choice of alpacas.

We started off with 2 pregnant female huacayas with a cria and 1 male haucaya that were delivered on August 1, 2006.  When we first decided to raise and breed alpacas, we didn't expect to fall in love with this new career change so rapidly.  David put it in a simple but effective way "It's like raising live teddy bears!"  Not only is every day a learning experience, it is also a very rewarding one!  Alpacas are such lovely animals and they have a lot to offer - their wonderful disposition, beautiful fiber and they are so easy to care for.

It is our goal to breed the finest alpacas to produce superb fiber, solid conformation and wonderful dispositions.

Some of the bloodlines we have are PPPeruvian Royal Fawn 6014, Ghengis Khan PC G120, Danko 532, Donatello, Sinopsis Nocturna, El Numero Uno De Los Negros, Peruvian Bueno, Snowmass Nova, Snowmass Drambuie's Kaluha, AABC Navigator, CPeruvian Accoyo Express 0222, PPeruvian Caligula G4572, PCA Accoyo El Nino, Jolimont 2 Peruvian Alpamayo IMP98, and DEA Karaminga.

With these bloodlines, we are sure to improve the quality of fiber on our farm and yours!
